Getting your daily exercise in is advertised to us as very important from a young age with us being encouraged to get at least 60 minutes per day to improve our fitness. The physical benefits are commonly highlighted however the mental benefits are not always as talked about. Getting outside and fresh air is a great way to workout your mind, but sometimes not always doable in the Scottish weather which is why promoting gym going as an alternative to clear your head I believe, is important.
